Ministries
At Bible Believers Church we view our nursery as a very important part of our ministries. We desire to help our children get an early love for Christians and being at church. Here are some reasons we believe you can entrust your children with our nursery staff:
1. We provide a very clean and safe place for children to play.
2. Only approved workers are allowed in the nursery.
3. All toys are sanitized after every service
Our nursery is available to children ages 0 to 3 years old. We also have a room that nursing mothers can go to with a changing table provided for them to use.
As Nursery Director, I am here to answer any questions or concerns you may have about our nurseries.

The nursing home ministry has a special place in the hearts of the BBC church family. It was the first outreach ministry started after the birth of the church in 2008 and it still continues today. Once a month volunteer church members go to the nursing home in an effort to be a blessing to the elderly. A church service is held in the common area and a rotation of men from BBC take turns preaching each month. Other members of the church assist those in need in getting to and from the services as well as passing out the song books and collecting them after the song service. It is our prayer that God uses this ministry to be a bright spot in the hearts and lives of the residents who are in our local nursing home.
We various teams of men who hold church services at the Dickerson Detention Facility in Hamtramck on Monday nights. It is a great opportunity to preach the gospel and do our best to be a help to those who are in trouble.

The junior church ministry is a major part of who and what we are as a church. The children, ages 3-12, start the service in the auditorium with their families and stay through the song service and announcements. During the last congregational song and prior to the preaching the children are dismissed to junior church and escorted by their teachers from their pews to the junior church area. They begin as a group with a few age specific Sunday School songs and then split up into two large classes, ages 3-5 and 6-12. Each class is taught by a husband and wife team who are faithful BBC members. The Junior Church curriculum is structured in such as way as to take the children through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation (covering highlights, major stories and themes three times) before graduating to the youth group. The teaching and classes are structured in such a way as to be exciting and engaging to the 3 year old and progresses in detail and doctrine as they grow older and move to the next class. It is our prayer that the children come to know the Lord as their Savior and then are rooted and grounded in the faith from an early age. We are striving to instill a strong faith in, and understanding of, the word of God in our children.
Our youth ministry is a slowly growing ministry with an exciting future. As our children have quickly grown up we have found ourselves in an increasing need to begin a youth program. With a very busy Junior Church group we see this need growing as time moves on. Currently we have three of our faithful couples take turns bringing the youth group to different youth activities held by like minded churches in the area. These activities include preaching, games, food and fellowship. They are held every month or so throughout the school year. We also attend an annual two day youth conference as well as a week long team camp during the summer. We are very excited to see what God is doing among our teens!
